Bicycling at Potato Creek state park mainly occurs
along the bike path (rough in spots),
or along
the many roads at the park. Though not officially allowed, you
will occasionally
see bikes along the many hiking
trails at Potato Creek state park.
The two main types of bikes at use in the park are
road bikes (pictured above) and
mountain bikes.
In, general road bikes are better for well paved roads, while
mountain
bikes are better suited for rougher trails
and terrain. Many people prefer mountain bikes
for
their more upright riding position as opposed to the more bent
over position
of the road bike.
Biking can be dangerous, please wear a helmet and
observe all safety precautions. This information

as is and is not guaranteed.
